The Kumo 雲 Gyuto 210mm VG10 Tsuchime Damascus is a versatile Japanese chef’s knife designed for precision, balance, and everyday performance in both professional and home kitchens.
“Kumo (雲)” means cloud in Japanese, reflected in the flowing Damascus patterns across the blade, resembling clouds drifting across the sky. The blade features a VG10 stainless steel core, known for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance, making it ideal for users who want high performance without high maintenance.
The blade is finished with a Tsuchime (hammered) texture combined with Damascus cladding, which not only gives the knife its distinctive appearance but also helps reduce food sticking during slicing.
