Akihiro Furukawa is a rising Japanese blacksmith from Aomori, formerly with Nigara Hamono, who now heads his own independent brand, Daruma Hamono. Known for his aesthetic Nashiji (pear-skin) finishes and beautiful cladding, his knives frequently feature premium steels like Ginsan (Silver 3).
